Over the last three decades of my professional life I have gathered a lot of sweet memories about many people around me. I always will be obliged to all of them who put their trust in me and provided me with opportunities to practice my organizational and professional abilities.

Their trust had loaded me with sense of responsibility and sincerity, I had been very lucky to meet some wonderful team mates whenever it came to joint ventures. If I started to count names of those who contributed in my progressive success the list will be too long.

I would like to convey my heartiest thanks to my teammate & guide Capt. Ingrid Kittman, my previous boss (1991-1996) Lt.Col, Muhammad Saleh Al Khayal, to my next boss (1996-2004) Col. Shawaf Abdu Rahman and to Dr. Gehad Esbaita. Although, I have moved on to explore the other part of the glob you all remain as an essence in my life.

The state-of-the-art facility has been designed in accordance with the highest quality standards and employs the most competent human resources, advanced communication and control systems, modern conference and safety levels and create almost fatality-free national roads. Emirates Driving Company and in collaboration with CERT has chosen SWEROAD’s consulting services to develop training facilities and programs as well as employ the most suitable human resource to fulfill upon the company’s goals, keeping in sight two inseparable and important factors:

EDC aims to improve road safety by providing training of internationally recognized standards to all drivers in the region.

Sharjah Police - Traffic Department

1990 - 2004

Sharjah Traffic police had envision of putting safer and skilled drivers on the road, to achieve this aim the concept of Sharjah Driving Institute had been planned,

The Sharjah Driving Institute is the first academic-governmental organizations at the level of Arab countries in general and the Gulf in particular. The approvals & planning of this Institute had taken some time but effectively it started to work in October 1991 and inaugurated officially in Feb 1992.

With latest training programs & equipped with all modern teaching aids SDI has created a quantum leap in the level of training and qualification of drivers, SDI has become quite an experience and a cultural monument in the Emirate of Sharjah.
